Leah Gibney is a very lucky American teenager, at just 17, last year she was runner-up in three major wake boarding events. This year looks to be even better; as she has planned wake boarding stops all across the United States at the next couple of months.
Leah only started wake boarding in a competitive manner during the summer of 2007 using her Liquid Force axis 139 2008 wakeboard. Having first stepped on to a wakeboard at the age of six, and taken to it like a duck to water. All of the people around her greatly admire her ability to take so much on at such a young age.
Back in 2006 she featured as a runway model having graduated from the famed John Casablanca modelling school. Was that the school, she had learned to play classical music on the piano, and have the chance to travel to various places in Europe and also the Caribbean.
It seems that all of these experiences have shaped her into a well rounded teenager, with a massive thirst for excitement. Even as we write this she is riding her wake board whilst being pulled by her motorboat.
The loves the sport because there is always something new to learn and it poses so much of a challenge. Earlier this month back at the Lake that she trains on, Leah was only beaten to the final post by a 10-year-old veteran of the sport; even then she was awarded the best trick following her successful completion of a 540 flip.
Leah’s main goal at the moment is to compete in the world Championships in Orlando; if she is a water three placed at the wake board National Championships in Oklahoma City then this will see how well on the way to the world Championships.
As you can imagine none of this is possible, or would be possible without the overwhelming support that she is received from her parents. They have been there to take her to practices, competitions and any other places that she is needed to go in order to compete in her sport.

I have had ATT TV service set up for more than a week so far. An similar deal through Comcast would be almost twice what I am paying AT T’s TV service. I greatly appreciate U-Verse extending a great comprehensive package that refrains from nailing customers with a bunch of miscellaneous charges. 3 boxes (1 with DVR capabilities) are built in the price. HD accepted for complimentary for one year - only $10 per year after the promotional period ends… not poor since U-Verse offers at least twice the number of HD channels that Comcast offers in Indianapolis.
Station shifting is surprisingly fast. Almost as fast as regular cable. On Demand (Pay-per-view) content is nice but not near the selection extended by other services. I had a party the night after installment - they wanted to view UFC, but U-Verse wasn’t carrying it. When I called, the rep I spoke with had accepted many similar calls.
Equipment generally functions as promoted. Right now, there are only 4 TV flows ready in the Indianapolis marketplace. I have only run out of streams one time - even after interchanging all 42 of my series recordings from my Comcast box! (You can get some of your DVR’s settings from your private U-Verse AT&T home page - decent plus). I do not have high def, thus no need for the addition.
Watching an HD channel takes up 2 streams - the remaining streams can only be used for standard definition stations. Apparently, a bump of the number of TV streams happening at the end of the spring. In addition, AT&T will be adding the capability to view DVR tapings from any box. These att tv deals are amazing!

In 2005 The Presidential Initiative to establish a Lunar Colony in stages and to use that as a launching platform to Mars was announced. A new appointment to become the head of NASA was made and the transformation of our Space Shuttle program efforts to a greater cause beyond the International Space Station was established. Mankind will return to the moon, mine materials on the moon for a self-sustaining energy system, production of gases for life support and propulsion as well as gathering metals, moon dust and elements to make spacecraft parts, concrete material and the colony its self. Currently the vision is clear, the Lunar Colony will be come a jumping off point for mankind to boldly go where no man has gone before. It will be a platform void of the gravitational effects holding us down in our efforts to seek the forward progression of the species and go to the next step.
In 2006 we will continue to see a push from the bottom up with our next generation thru education and contests in schools and colleges to produce future engineers, mathematicians and scientists to see this mission thru. In 2006 we will see more NASA education systems and public relations from both the government and the emerging privatization of space commercial sector. We will see additional investment and venture capital flows into BioTech, NanoTech, Material Sciences, Robotics, Aerospace and other industries which push the Space Agenda forward in hopes of collecting some of the money flows from research grants and eventually the bigger prize of Space Tourism, Mining and Exploration. All of this in 2006.

Can a bad credit rating save you from bigger problems? Hasn’t it done just that for many young people? I’ll explain how with a couple true stories.
Good Credit Rating Story
My friend started his adult years with good credit. Soon he was able to get credit cards at will, as well as finance cars, snowmobiles and more. He made the payments, and went deeper and deeper into debt while he was at it. When he was 30 years old, he had over $20,000 in credit card debt, plus loans on cars and business tools.
Eventually it was just too much to handle. After considering bankruptcy, he was convinced that the credit card companies would reduce his balance due if he just threatened to declare bankruptcy. However, he had to stop paying on the cards, or the credit card companies wouldn’t believe he was in financial trouble. He did this, and then drafted a nice letter to the companies, explaining his situation. Most cut at least 30% off what he owed, but he had to pay the remaining balances immediately, which he did with a home equity loan.
As a result, his bad credit rating wasn’t as bad as if he had actually declared bankruptcy, so he was able to rebuild his credit score. He also started to rebuild his credit balances. His good credit rating enabled him to begin again the process of overburdening himself with debt. He lives a stressful life, to say the least.

Pay cash for everything. Pay down those credit card and loan balances (the higher interest ones first). The moment you get your cards paid off, start setting aside money to buy a good used car for cash. then, when you’ve done that, start putting what would have been a car payment into a savings account, for a future down payment on house or a business (the only things you should borrow for). Yes, a bad credit rating can be good thing, if you take it as a lesson, and an opportunity.
