Where’s the fun in planning a wedding and not making it mean something? Let me to brag a bit about the Weaver family’s fanciful wedding planning reputation. Chances are if you live in Chicagoland you’re already familiar; we boast a deep tradition of planning memorable wedding experiences.
We eat, breathe and fantasize about weddings. Our friends include wedding fashion designers, photographers and hair stylists. My younger brother is a very charming wedding host and pianist–and oh boy it’s impressive! This month I’ve carefully evaluated a who’s who collection of vendors listed here under, Dallas luxury weddings. Obviously, I grew up around wedding planning. As a remarkable high class wedding planner who takes her job seriously, I am finally planning my own wedding with a bit of insight from sister. But that’s not all, I am madly in love. One say I’ve been lifted off my heels by the most wonderful guy!
My mom, Chicago wedding photographer friend and I, are terrific coworkers and besties forever. She is wholeheartedly jealous fiance Oggie Bear. A few days ago, we looked through the vintage photographs of mother’s notoriously tacky Dallas wedding. It was hilarious, but fashions change. Can you find the a moral about timelessness in that.
You wouldn’t believe how great this is. My father is so generous to be flying everyone in, and the ceremony will be at perhaps the hottest hotels! I really shouldn’t share the when and where cause who needs party crashers. It’s a good time to be getting married, celebrating love with family and friends. We know that’s what a luxury wedding is definitely about. Cheers to the vitality of life.
Well wishes,
Amanda

Botulinum therapy (abbreviated to BoTox) has become established amongst up-to-date Sydney society and now it has become a grooming necessity for many in Sydney.
Nevertheless I am frequently dumbfounded when I listen to the insane tales in connection with this procedure.
I have included below some of the more popular stories that we come across day in day out in Star Cosmetic Medicine, where I practise as a physician.
Myth no. 1: I may lose the ability to express emotion!
Research shows there are sixty or so muscles beneath the skin of your face. The extensive use of these muscles may result in fine lines or wrinkles. Too many doses of Botulinum Toxin have the effect of the facial musculature appearing less expressive. The dose used by most doctors are calculated to make you appear ‘refreshed’, however you will continue to be just as expressive.
So a carefully measured injection of BoTox in the right place means an expressive face is protected whilst the wrinkles undergo a softening effect.
Myth no. 2: BoTox is a toxic substance!
This to some extent is true. Its medical term is Botulinum Toxin Type A. Too great a quantity may end up in a decrease in muscle tone and may cause sickness.
However to help us understand the bigger picture: an ancient chemist’s expression states that ‘everything is a poison - it all depends on the dose’. Every medicine might make a person very unwell in big enough doses. If you drink too great a quantity of water it will kill you.
Myth no. 3: BoTox hurts!
The hypodermic needles we use at Star Cosmetic Medicine have a diameter smaller than your hair. A lot of individuals state that the injections are not worse than bug bites. Certainly not in the same ball park as compared to having a blood profile.
Myth no. 4: I might lose feeling in my face!
Completely untrue. BoTox affects the junction between the nerve and the facial muscle, not the nerves of sensation. BoTox only targets the ability to relax muscles.
Myth no. 5. Once you start BoTox you have to keep getting it or else you will get even worse wrinkles than earlier!
Once More this is just false.
BoTox is believed to be effective for up to three months. Later treatments tend to last a little longer. The wrinkles will gradually reform as the muscle returns to normal. But they will certainly not be any deeper than previously.
As A Matter Of Fact the lines will more often than not be softer than if you had never had BoTox injections - even if you never continue the treatment. In the main due to the fact that your skin has had a ‘wrinkle holiday’ whilst the treatment was effective.

Presents and gifts at Christmas are often in the form of items that can be wrapped and placed under the tree - which is no bad thing of course, but what to get for those who would like something different? Even then, it isn’t always eyebrows that are the first thing to pop into your head! Eyebrows, more specifically tattoo eyebrows are a form of permanent makeup that involves shaping the eyebrow by tattooing small hairs in and around the brow area. The result is an eyebrow that has been shaped by a professional and a look that will last. Permanent make up has grown in popularity over the last decade and has been made increasingly popular by celebrities and film stars the world over. The beauty of permanent make-up is that it can either be left, or added to, the results are always consistently good. A trip to a permanent cosmetics specialist could be the perfect gift for a loved one, especially if they like wearing make-up but never have enough time to apply it. It could be the perfect gift idea for someone you know who likes lying in of a morning, buy them extra time in bed by saving them the time needed to apply make-up! Permanent make-up extends further than eyebrows, lips and eyelashes are also popular. There is also the option of scar camouflage, a reputable permanent cosmetics professional should be able to advise on available treatments and advise on those most suitable.

BoTox is now essential amongst Sydney’s stylish set and has become a grooming must for individuals in the Harbour City.
All the same I am often stunned by the various myths which surround the painless treatment.
I have included below some of the falsehoods that I hear day in day out in Star Cosmetic Medicine, where I practise as a physician.
Delusion no. 1: My facial muscles may stiffen up!
Research has determined there are around sixty muscles beneath the skin of your face. These muscles ordinarily work harmoniously, but over a period of time fine lines may start to appear. Too many injections of BoTox have the effect of the face looking over relaxed. Most doctors would use relatively small dosages to will result in you looking less tired, however you will still appear just as expressive.
By using the proper dosage of the BoTox in precisely the right tissues an expressive face is saved whilst any lines undergo a softening effect.
Delusion no. 2: Botulinum is a poisonous substance!
There is a grain of truth in this. Botulinum Toxin Type A is the correct pharmacological terminology. Too great a dose can end up in a decrease in muscle tone or can cause sickness.
However to put everything into perspective - an old pharmacy saying states that ‘everything is a poison - all depending on the dose’. A large amount of any medicine can result in sickness. If you drink too much water it can be fatal.
Delusion no. 3: BoTox will sting!
The needles we use at Star Cosmetic Medicine have a diameter smaller than your hair. Quite a few patients say that the shots aren’t worse than getting bit by mosquitoes. It for certain is not as sore as a procedure like a blood test.
Delusion no. 4: My face will be numb!
Not true. BoTox affects the neuromuscular junction, and not on sensate nerve fibers. Just the ability to relax muscles is affected by BoTox injections.
Delusion no. 5. Once you begin getting BoTox you have to keep going or you might wrinkle quicker than ever!
This is also false.
Visit and surf to this tremendous resource for Sydney Botox clinics info…
The first BoTox treatment lasts approximately 3 months. Later injections tend to last a little longer. Eventually as muscle strength returns the wrinkles will slowly re-emerge. However they will certainly not be any worse than when you began.
In fact the lines will more often than not be softer than if you hadn’t undergone BoTox - even should you don’t persevere with the injections. This, of course is primarily the case due to the fact you have given your skin a ‘wrinkle holiday’ when the treatment was effective.

Botulinum medicine (abbreviated to B.tox) is fast becoming popular in Sydney society and in fact it has become a beauty routine essential for many in the Harbour City. Nevertheless I never fail to be amazed when I hear the variety of myths and half truths which have developed about this routine procedure.
Here I have included some of the more errors that I come across all the time in Star Cosmetic Medicine, where I work as a doctor.
Urban Legend # 1: The muscles in my face could freeze!
The human face has about 60 muscles. These ordinarily function harmoniously, but over a period of time lines may appear. When surplus B.tox is injected facial expression can occasionally become too relaxed. Generally physicians use comparatively small quantities to make you look less tired, yet you will still appear just as animated.
So the proper dosage of B.tox in the right place means you will achieve a softening of the fine lines and wrinkles without reducing facial expression.

Urban Legend # 2: Botulinum is a poison!
This to a small extent is true. Its medical name is Botulinum Toxin Type A. An overdose can loosen muscles that you do not want loosened or may make you really sick.
Pharmacists have an old saying that states ‘everything is a poison - all depending on the dose’. Every drug might make a person really sick in large enough amounts. Even water can kill you if you drink enough.
Urban Legend # 3: B.tox will be painful!
Your hairs are thicker than the needles we use at Star Cosmetic Medicine. Several individuals have compared the shots to getting bitten by a bug. It is definitely less traumatic than a procedure like a blood test.
Urban Legend # 4: I will lose sensation in my face!
Not true. B.tox affects the neuromuscular junction, and not on sensate nerve fibers. Only the ability to relax your muscles is impacted by B.tox injections.
Urban Legend # 5. Once you begin B.tox you need to keep it up or else you will develop worse wrinkles than before!
Also incorrect.
The first treatment will be effective for around 3 months. Any injections after the initial visit should last a few weeks longer. The lines will gradually reappear as the muscle recovers its normal function. However they will certainly be no worse than before.
Even should you do not have B.tox injections ever again - any wrinkles will most likely be a little less pronounced than if you hadn’t undergone the procedure. Due to the fact that your skin has had a ‘wrinkle holiday’ when the treatment was working.

My acquaintances never believe it, since my wig is an subtle icon of my identity they don’t think twice about it, but it is a fact I don wigs to enhance my appearance. You’re reading The Hillsborough Report by Delores Kerfluffil. Can you believe even my nephew didn’t recognize me the first time he’d seen me in years. That’s the magic of lace front wigs. They make my hair styles no less than effortlessly beautiful. They allow me to achieve what my life-coach calls the “successful quotient.”
Here’s the story, ten years ago during my college graduation, I was diagnosed with an ailment that fundamentally screamed wigs. It induced a lot of worry. Even so, I ignored it, and the unfortunate circumstances of my appearance were not anywhere on my hierarchy of problems. It’s a reality, I had young kids growing up in addition to demanding design studio to run. Eventually my roommate Princess revealed to me that given the wellness and professional issues at stake, wigs made a lot of practical sense.
I went into crisis mode and made an appointment with my general practitioner on the matter of covering my women’s hair loss. I was going for a solution other than wigs, quite frankly. When he advised that well-made human hair wigs would be my best bet, I stayed suspicious! But oh boy, I’ve grown into something of a wig evangelist, delivering knowledge to women in need. That’s just the humble opinion of a well-versed wig expert. The key women might take home, is that eventually, even your husband won’t notice you’re wearing a wig.

The argument between using simple and professional hair products has been an infinite one. Previously, this disputation was resolved easily with a noted quote, You get what you pay for. But nowadays, the line betwixt Professional Hair Products and non-professional products has gone cloudy due to the emergence of low-cost professional products and pricy amateur products.
Previously, a bottleful of shampoo in a beauty salon would merely cost you $10 while you will simply give a few dollars for the amateur ones. But of late, buying a bottleful of shampoo from a local shopping store will cost as much or even steeper than a bottleful bought from a beauty parlour. This recent advancement happened because most professional hair products did not have price step-ups for a number of years while on the other hand, common shampoos and conditioners sold in the market have been altered, both in packaging and pricing, to compete with their in-beauty salon competition.
The main gauge that would sort the two classes will now be the standard of quality that each category performs. Just think about it this way: All products made to be applied in salons by professionals can only be retailed in beauty parlours. That signifies that the products must be of the highest quality. If they werent, beauticians simply wouldnt use them. Never will you see a professional product that causes build up or leaves the hair feeling dry and crumbly. Professional shampoos will also not deprive hair of colouration or primary moisture. If you could obtain these products or products of corresponding quality in any shopping store, why wouldnt your beautician apply them?
While not all simple products are terrible, you do carry the danger of choosing a product that could cause troubles like build up, dryness, breakage, color fading, lifelessness, frizziness and a legion of other troubles. Be thorough when selecting non-professional products and as an added care, it is best if you monitor your hair regularly for whatever unfavourable effects.
Also, keep in mind how much you are spending. While it makes complete sense to pick out a ordinary product at large savings over a professional one, it doesnt have a good deal of sense to expend as much on a amateur product as you would for an assured, professional product.
At the end of the day, what you purchase is a conclusion that is entirely up to you. It is better to select a product that attends to both designs of making savings and at the same time bear commanding quality consequences.
