The Plan Renove Caldera Scheme

The Valencian government has allocated a further 300,000 to the Plan Renove Caldera scheme, on Friday last week.

Before, Round Town News (RTN) readers recalled a report about the Comunidad Valenciana, introducing incentives with a total value of 600,000 to encourage residents to change their old inefficient boiler to the latest energy saving, high efficiency Worcester boilers as part of its focus to reduce global emissions.

The ‘Plan Renove Caldera’ was programmed to close on 29th April 2011, but has been such a big success that all the funds had almost been allocated last week. So the Valencian government has made a further 300,000 of grant money available with immediate effect.

Tracy Smeed, co-owner of 100% Plumbing, immediately contacted RTN, informing them that they had three confirmed boiler changes from RTN readers recently, and all of them will save money under the scheme.

Tracy explained that the installation of a high efficiency boiler retailing at 1,744 + IVA can cost as little as 1,450, inclusive of IVA and installation, once the government grant and current ‘100% Plumbing’ promotions are discounted. That’s a fantastic saving of just over 600.

Every major boiler manufacturer is represented in the list of high efficiency boilers recognized by AVEN (Agencia Valenciana de la Energia) and included within the ‘Plan Renove Caldera’ cash back scheme.

Even better, the customer has to do nothing to benefit from the grant. The grant allowance is deducted from the invoice at point of sale by the installer; it is then the installer who claims the grant back from the government.
